From the time I was knee-high to an Indiana grasshopper, I have been fascinated with auctions. My dad used to take me to the White Sale Barn, a local flea market and auction site. Back then, they sold anything from cows to cabbage. These outings brought me great joy and fueled my desire to be involved with them when I grew up.

Fast forward a few years. I had kids, grandkids, health scares, and a few different careers behind me, but I still had my determination to become an auctioneer. Classes, training, and other auction professionals as mentors brought me where I need to be–right here. While it took me a little longer than expected to get here, I have arrived.

Now, I know I am exactly where I am supposed to be. Finally, working in my true calling as a benefit auctioneer. One of my first auctions, a black tie event for Lions Club International, raised more money than they ever had. This just cemented that I was on the right track and I have gained momentum ever since.

Why me?

I care about your cause. Your mission becomes mine. My compassion and empathy drive me to inspire your crowd. As your onstage ambassador, I know how to connect with your audience. I understand how to relay the urgency. I have the innate ability to entertain, inform, and excite–which leaves them bidding.

Whether it's cows, cabbage, or Cartier, I was sold that auctions were for me.

Now, let's get to bidding and winning!
